Did Santa give you anything you want this year? Hmmm, I doubt it. Alright, I know it's like a little past Christmas already but do allow me to rewind back a little.
As you all know, I have graduated from the Specialist Cadet School a week ago. But I have not share about my posting order yet (although I did tell a few people). Actually I knew my posting almost two weeks ago, I just forgot to blog about it.
And yes, I've been posted back to the sunny island of Pulau Tekong. Before anyone ask any questions, I need you to know that I don't know what role will I be taking up at Tekong yet. We still have a commanders preparation course to go through before we take up our respective roles. Most of us would be either a part of the faculty team or specialists attached to the various companies. If I get posted to the formal, I would probably not be able to give my friends an enormous welcome when they enlist next year. So I hoping for the latter. But either way, we are still sergeants on the island. We'll still be able to go to the mess. We'll still earn the same pay. And we'll still have the same freedom. So, it doesn't really matter much to me.
Bringing it back to the topic of Christmas, this year's Christmas wasn't really anything special to me. It was just a day that allowed me to book out earlier this week and have a complete day of rest and freedom. Damn, I still remember how I used to look forward to Christmas when I was still a kid. Because I used to get quite a fair number of presents, mostly toys. And I also loved putting up those decorations and lighting up the Christmas trees. Now Christmas just seems boring. I think I really need to bring the magic back to Christmas.
Well, on a really random side note.

Dang, isn't Hayley Williams pretty? She's not just pretty, but also pretty in pink. I adore her hair. And I love the music video for Paramore's Playing God. I just can't get the song's catchy chorus out of my head.
To end this off, I'll probably just wish everyone a merry Christmas! This post was meant for yesterday anyway. And oh, also, a very happy new year next week!
Man, I can't wait to book out.
