Moving Monday might as well name itself Misspend Monday. We were given two periods of percious time for doing CCA activities and because of 2 simple reasons: bad weather and poor-conditioned field, we were retained in the hall and forced to prolong our torturous reading period by at least 30 minutes. The rest of the time were taken by Mr Boo for a talk about the school's values again. Hmmm... Propagandas? Hope not. By the way, throughout the whole prolonged reading period and Mr Boo's talk, we didn't even see a single drop of rain and the sky didn't even look threatening.
It was after school that the sky started pouring with rain. Today didn't do much things but I have a story to share. It's a sad, sad story of my dear friend from primary school, whom I shall name Polaris.
Polaris was once with this girl called Mary, who is in his school. It was a relationship full of obstacles and hardships. Sad to say, the relationship had more downs than ups. One day, Mary just couldn't take it anymore and suggested for a break-up. She wanted Polaris to forget her and just 'treat it as they had never been together before'. Of course, Polaris was sad. He didn't expect their relationship to end as quick as just a month. He still love her alot. But other than give up, what else can he do? He signed to fate and carried on with his life, trying to forget her.
Months after the break-up, Polaris noticed something. Mary had been avoiding him. Avoiding him on MSN, in school and refused to reply his messages. It was not like Polaris messaged her and told her all kinds of mushy, gross and sick stuffs. Polaris just wanted to know how she's doing recently. There was once when she saw Polaris along the corridors of the school and quickly turned her head around and ran away. That's dumb, okay.
Polaris heaved a sigh of disappointment. He knew Mary was those kind of girl who would get influence by her friends easily. He knew the Mary he knows now is totally different from the one he knew a few months ago. One day when Polaris completely doesn't like her anymore, something happened and it justified this point. Polaris was online on MSN and was chatting with his friends when a conversation popped up. It was Mary. Mary wanted Polaris to donate money. Not to any charity society, but to HER. It was the new year and she wanted new everything. From specs to bag, and from wallet to handphone. She didn't had money to buy any of those stuffs, so she set up a fund to her herself raise money. Polaris decided to generously donate $X to her but she wasn't grateful, in fact she was ruder than before. It was as if she treated Polaris as her piggybank. She took the money for grated!
I was beside Polaris all the time when this conversation took place. My blood was boiling and I really wanted to give the girl a huge slap. All the things she said to Polaris, I can't believe it's coming out from a X year old's mouth. Polaris held his temper and ignored whatever she said and swore not to give her anymore money after this time.
Well, listen up, Mary. You are lucky to have an ex like Polaris. If it would have been other guys, you might be dead now.
BYEBYE~
X- the numbers are censored to protect the right of Polaris, whose name was also changed to protect his right. xD
