Tan Ah Beng

If you're expecting this to be a post about the Presidential Election, well, nope. Not interested. Just like the General Election earlier this year, I have absolutely no interest in it. I don't even know the names of all the candidates. I only know that all candidates have the same surname - Tan.

I don't know why but I really don't give a shit about politics. I totally can't see the hype in it. While other people of my age or even younger are getting obsessed over the GE results, I don't even wanna know. And I don't really get those anti-PAP stuff. I mean, are your lives in Singapore really that freakin' miserable under their ruling?

Maybe it's just because I'm still too young to vote. And if I'm not voting, it's none of my business. That's not a really good mindset but, too bad. That's just me.

Getting back to what I wanna say, I know I promised a post on my Hong Kong trip two nights ago. Yeah, guess what? I lied. It's not that I don't want to do it. I just have a lot of catching up to do. I'll get it up soon.

And I think I need to reiterate the point that I really can't freakin' wait for ORD. Six months is such a long time. I know what you're thinking; I've already gone through 16 months, shouldn't six months be a piece of cake? Well, I guess when the day gets nearer, the more impatient you'll get. Check back with me in three months time. I'll probably be tearing my hair off.

Freedom. So near, yet so far.
