It's not hard to tell that I've lost quite an enormous chunk of interest in blogging right? I mean, I haven't been posting much ever since the start of pro term in SCS. 1 picture, 1 video link, 1 chunk of copied-and-paste lyrics, 1 not-so-poetic poem, 1 rant about bands and 1 w00h00-I'm-going-to-taiwan-and-you-are-not was all that I wrote. Obviously these posts don't add up to form the summary of my past three months. They were just there to depict my feelings at that point of time and, well, to show that this blog is still alive and I'm still updating. Picture my blog as a coma patient. Those posts were like a slight twitch of the eyelid or a sporadic movement of the index finger, little signs to remind people that he is not dead, just in deep unconsciousness.
Alright, enough of that trash talking, I've got blanks to fill!
As much as I hate to admit it, I actually did enjoy my professional term.
My section mates were absolutely amazing people. So were our instructor and some of the other people in the platoon. Without these people, professional term would be hell. I will always remember all the shit we went through together. Like, the ridiculously long list of requirements for CSB, the mass heat rashes we had during Grandslam and also the 3 hours of rain on the second night. (FYI: That was the worst 3 hours in my entire life)
I really enjoyed our overseas exercise to Taiwan. It was fantastic and a whole new experience. Taiwan is an awesome place. Longstride was the fun because of all the interesting things we did along the way. Warrior was a week-long bitch but at least the weather was nice. And R&R, (Y).
Three months may seem like a short span of time, but it was a long, grueling period for us at Hotel company (Those from Hotel will know why). But still, we all managed to overcome the challenges that were placed before us. And now, finally, we have graduated as 3rd Sergeants!
Actually that's pretty much it. The moral of the story is: I've been training in a course for the past three months and now I've graduated and is promoted to a 3SG. I'm a Specialist and I'm proud of it. Bye bye.
