Yep, the 'fun' part of the JC1 orientation had already started earlier this week.
And today's the day of the CCA recruitment drive. After school, Keith, Jerry and I went down to the concourse to wait for Phoebe. We saw Kleff preparing Bowling's booth so we went to "help out". Soon, most of the others bowlers came. Many of us became walking billboards for the CCA as we walked around the first floor of school with signs that wrote "Join Bowling, sign up now!".
The recruitment drive really reminded me of the CCA recruitment in Beatty when I was still in the NCC. I still remember all the hard work we have to put in before every recruitment drive. I still remember that we painted banners, carried rifles and even painted our faces. I still remember that we used to do drills, IFC and Maori dance on these days to attract more people to join. There's one year ('06 or '07, if I'm not wrong) where we got a classroom that's nearly at the end of the classroom block as our home room. But we did whatever we could and eventually managed to get a satisfying number of people to join us.
Those are really nice days, lol. Actually most of my days in NCC are fond memories.
Oh ya, anyway I'm considering if I should get a new ball. Looking out for Brunswick's Wild Ride.
