The atmosphere in school is rather tense today. Everyone seems to be totally stressed out, because of promos I guess. Many people opted to skip school to stay home and study. One of the classes has only three girls showing up in school today. The LT was quite empty too when we had our econs lecture.

When the principal announced that one of Singapore's swimmer won a gold medal in the Paralympics, no one seemed to be as high as they should be. Not a single soul cheered until the principal requested for a round of applause for the athlete. During assembly this afternoon, I didn't hear anyone singing the school song (well, except for King Kong Leng). Everyone was just standing there and staring blankly to the front. Stressed out!
