Some old oldies.

It's Chinese new year! And here I am looking through some old stuffs.

Just a few moments ago, I was checking out the music in my My Received Files and I came across these few midi pieces. Those are the songs which Jinghao wrote and also the ones which I filled in the lyrics for. There were only three pieces: 你我他 (You, me, him), 伤痕 (Scar) and the more well-known one, 海边 (Seashore). Note, the "more " there means that more people actually heard this piece of music than the other two, 'cause I think the people that actually know about the other two pieces are less than 5. Maybe because my lyrics are bad.

I still remember how these pieces came about. About one, two years ago, JH let me hear the demo for 海边 and at that point I was very interested in Chinese lyrics writing, so I offered to help him fill in the blanks. Soon after that, we collaborated again to write the song, 你我他, then 伤痕.

Actually all these while, I really don't think my lyrics are of any big deal. They are just some plain Chinese words forming up in weird sentences. Usually much of the lines doesn't make sense at all. They just rhyme with the other sentences.

I like the song, 你我他. I think it is the only song lyrics that I'd wrote that actually have a meaning behind it. A very shallow meaning, though.

Anyway, it has been a long, long time since I wrote lyrics. And I guess it's going to get longer in the near future.
