I'd been thinking.
DotA actually has numerous similarities to the life we are living in. Many heroes and characters can be easily relate to people in reality and things that happen in DotA can also relate to real-life events.
For example, Pugna can be compared to a geek. They are both similar as they both have high intelligence but has a skinny frame and is small in size. Easily made as targets subjected to bullying.
And also, Leshrac, the Tormented Soul, who is obviously the DotA equivalent of emo kids. Leshrac's story basically just claimed how tormented he felt, how much pain he felt and how no one understood him. Isn't this exactly what emo kids think? And to add on to their similarities, Leshrac is relatively weak in terms of Health Points(HP), which makes him vulnerable, just like the hearts of our beloved emo kids.
Well, there are more but I can't bother to go into details for all. So, I'll just briefly write about them.
Shadow Fiend = Ah Beng
Look at the way he walks.
Sand King = Show Luo
Shake it, mama, shake it!
Stealth Assassin = Backstabber
Sneak it up behind people and stab them in the back.
Omni Knight = Metrosexual new-age man
Long, blonde hair with sissy skill of healing.
Anti-Mage = Kelvin Tan
"I'm blind, not deaf." :/
That's about it for now.
Oh ya, anyway, I have a feeling that Chen , the Holy Knight is suitable to be a great leader for the communists. Since he is able to persuade creeps to join him, I guess it wouldn't be a problem for him to persuade the peasants. After all, creeps are beasts and peasants are human.
Pretty lame. ~_~
