Yes!! Just got my copy of huo yuan jia! It's so cool, man! Whoa! Look at Jay's new style. Traditional chinese costume, braided hair, oriental background... I love the fan!! haha. Becasue it's gold in colour. haha. No lar. I just love it for no reason. I'll definitely make this kind of hair style if the school allows it. haha. But i think they don't suit me.
Ok, let's talk about the content. Huo yuan jia is a rap song sounding almost like lan se feng bao. It is still filled with jay's oriental style of music for his rap songs like his previous song, shuang jie gun, long quan and shuang dao. Jay added some 'diao'ness into the song by mimicking the voice of an opera singer. Huo yuan jia is definitely better then shuang jie gun, long quan and shuang dao. I will recommand this song to others. On the other hand, xianshi is not as intresting. This song was originally sung by jordan chan and was sang at a concert in Hong Kong. Jay was practically mumbling cantonese throughout the whole song. It was lifeless. The song sounded as if it does not have a climax at all. I wouldn't say that it is not good, it's just not the usual jay.
The MVs in the DVD caught more of my attention. Here's a brief comments on all of the MVs...
Huo Yuan Jia
Dance matched well with the song. The short scenes of the movie Huo Yuan Jia also added a more kungfu feeling to it.
Ye Qu
Nice story plot. Jay was a guy who lost his love. Jay's acting had improved alot! You can feel the sorrow he felt in the MV when you looked into his eyes.

A witty plot. Jay acting as spy up against another spy who was acted by Zhou Xun. Intresting and captivating.

My favourite MV of the whole DVD. A touching story that matched well with the sad song. Jay's girlfriend lost her memory and is now the girlfriend of his best friend. I nearly cried while watching this MV.

A cute story about a couple which met after a wrong phone call. Cute and romantic. After watching, you'll have the feeling of falling in love.

The story was linked very well to the lyrics of the song. Very realistic. Other then Jay, Nanquan Mama's Yuhao and Devon and ex-Nanquan Mama, Gary, played a big part in the MV.

Mai Ya Tang
It seems as if the director was trying to tell something but i can't figure out what. I dun understand the MV at all. All i see was people doing some magic stuff pleasing girls.

Shan Hu Hai
Vincent Fang was the main character of the MV. Although he was emotionless all the time, he was able to let us feel his sadness when his girlfriend betrayed him. Nice story.

Just like lan se feng bao, jay looked cool in it. But it has no storyline, only scenes from initial d the movie.

Jay was able to express what he wanted well enough. Although it hjad no plot, the scenes from initial d and the scene he sat with the cars blended well with the music.

The EP also comes with some scenes of Jay's concert in Hong Kong. It was nice! Especially those parts of the piano. Haha.
